MÖTLEY's Story
Real name Karl Gregory, I was inspired by the greats to start making music starting as early as Michael Jackson and Tupac later influences like Lil Wayne Chris brown, and Kanye but I grew up listening to a lot of rock music such as Green Day escape the fate, fall out boy, a skylit drive & bring me the horizon I always looked at these figures as people that are bigger than life but no different than me.
I started writing and recording myself in high school but didn’t start taking things serious until 2014. My style was created from just being myself: thinking outside the box, being free, and just trying different things with my voice. I don’t believe in being one dimensional so I take music wherever I want it to go, whether it be Rock, Country, alternative or Rap. Just like a wolf I adapt to whatever the playing field is like and that’s what makes Me, Mötley.
